HRAPF has issued a report on Violations through the enforcement of the AHA in August 2023

August 2023 has marked the third full month of the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 (AHA) being in force, and in this month, both the
state and the citizens have continued to zealously enforce the AHA in their different capacities, with arrests of real or suspected LGBTQ
persons continuing, as well as cases of violence and evictions from rented accommodation. This is a report of the nature of cases
affecting LGBTQ persons handled by the Legal Aid Clinic at HRAPF during the month of August 2023.
